On August 4, the ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Armenia-the Land of Heritage, Tradition and Talent”, held jointly by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Czech Republic and the Municipality of Prague 6, took place in the Skleňák Gallery of Prague 6. Opening remarks were delivered by the Ambassador of Armenia Ashot Hovakimian and the Councilor of Prague 6 for Strategic Development and Heritage Conservation Eva Smutná. The event was attended by the First Vice-President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament, the senator representing Prague 6 Jiří Růžička, Ambassadors representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, municipal authorities, public and journalistic circles and the Armenian community.

This Exhibition on Armenia, prominent Armenian personalities and Armenian historical-cultural heritage inscribed on various UNESCO lists is the outcome of a project of the “Slavic Union”, implemented under the auspices of the Embassy of Armenia to the Czech Republic. The Exhibition will be on display for the public until August 31, 2022 (Galerie Skleňák, nám. Svobody, Prague 6).
