The meeting of ambassador Melkonian with the Governor of South Sinai

On December 27, Armen Melkonian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Egypt, met with General Khaled Fouda, the Governor of South Sinai.
Expressing his gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Melkonian stated that the coastal resort of Sharm El Sheikh in South Sinai is a favorite destination for Armenian tourists and the regular flights between Armenia and Sharm El Sheikh, established in June 2017, not only promoted tourism, but also activated the business contacts between two countries.
In his turn, Governor Fouda stated that they are always pleased to welcome the tourists from friendly Armenia in Sharm El Sheikh. He emphasized the constant efforts aimed at making the tourists recreation in South Sinai more comfortable and safe.
The interlocutors also addressed the prospects of economic and cultural cooperation.
