Ambassador Armen Melkonian’s meeting with the Chairman of Permanent Committee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of Egypt

On December 17, Armen Melkonian, Ambassador of Armenia to Egypt, met with Tarek Radwan, Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of Egypt.

The opportunities of development of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries were discussed. Ambassador Melkonian presented the priorities of Armenia's foreign policy and economic development.

In his turn, Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives spoke about the problems and challenges Egypt currently faces.

While attaching importance to the centuries old traditional friendship between Armenia and Egypt, the interlocutors exchanged views on the political and economic cooperation agenda, as well as a number of regional issues.
