<Armenia- Egypt: Colorful parallels> photo exhibition in Cairo

In the framework of the events dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the Independence of Armenia, the opening ceremony of the exhibition titled <<Egypt-Armenia: colorful parallels>> for the photographer Tawfik Dajani, took place on the 26^th of September 2017 in the Egyptian Center for International Cultural Cooperation, with the efforts of the Armenian Embassy to Egypt and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt.

Dajani’s photography during his visit to Armenia and the works he captured in Egypt were displayed next to each other in the exhibition, portraying the scenic places, historical monuments and the daily life of both countries.

The exhibition witnessed the attendance of Ayman Abdel Hadi, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, H.E. Armen Melkonian, Ambassador of Armenia, foreign diplomats, cultural figures, representatives of the Armenian community, and journalists.

First Undersecretary Abdel Hadi and Ambassador Melkonian highly appreciated photographer Tawfik Dajani’s work in their remarks. Ambassador Melkonian especially noted that Dajani succeeded in conveying the similarities between the cultures of the two friendly people through his specific and distinctive style and various color shades.
