Ambassador Armen Melkonian met with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Arab Republic of Egypt Tarek Qabil

On July 3, 2016, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Egypt Armen Melkonian met with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Arab Republic of Egypt Tarek Qabil.
The prospects of the Armenian-Egyptian trade and economic cooperation, as well as means of boosting business ties in certain fields of mutual interest between two countries have been discussed during the meeting. In that context the parties stressed the importance of utilizing the new opportunities provided by the membership of Armenia to EAEU.
The ambassador also presented the Minister the recent economic achievements of Armenia, the dynamics of its development, as well as the efforts and projects of the Government of Armenia aimed to improve the investment climate and export capabilities of the country.
Ambassador Melkonian expressed his gratitude for the reception and congratulated Minister Qabil on the occasion of the upcoming Islamic holiday of Aid El-Fitr.
