Armenian folk songs performed at El-Gumhuriya Hall, Cairo Opera House

On October 6, Distinguished Artist Of Armenia Arsen Grigoryan, singer Anna Kharatyan and the Mro Ensemble gave a concert at the El-Gumhuriya Hall of Cairo Opera House within the framework of events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia.

The event was organized by the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Cairo and the Armenian Embassy in Egypt and featured performances of folk songs and works by notable Armenian composers.

Attending the concert were Armenian Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt H.E. Dr. Armen Melkonyan, high-ranking officials of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, foreign diplomats, spiritual leaders of the Armenian Apostolic and Catholic communities in Egypt, several members of the local Armenian community and art fans of Egypt.
