Two Armeno-Egyptian personalities honored by Armenia’s President

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, President Serge Sargsyan, through a Presidential Decree dated 3 September 2011, has bestowed two Armeno- Egyptian personalities;- among other Armenian figures of the Diaspora, with Merit awards for their significant contributions to the Motherland.

AGBU Egypt Chairman and AGBU Cairo Honorary chairman Mr. Berdj Terzian was bestowed the “Mkhitar Gosh” Medal, while Mr. Vart Alexanian, the Armeno-Egyptian prominent businessman, was awarded the “Movses Khorenatsi” Medal.
